Ms. Young has practiced commercial real estate law, with a focus on leasing and development transactions, for over 25 years. She assists the firm on selected transactions.

Leasing: Ms. Young represents both landlords and tenants in retail, office and industrial leases. She has also developed form lease, ground lease, letter of intent and purchase and sale documentation for clients such as a 700+-unit restaurant chain, an international oil company, and several developers. Ms. Young has successfully concluded negotiations for over 500 leases, throughout the United States,

representing developers in leasing space to tenants. She also represents tenants including major institutions, owner-operators and franchisees.

Acquisition, Disposition and Development: Ms. Young's representation of developers, buyers and sellers has included shopping centers, free-standing retail sites, offices, industrial properties, studios, and churches.

Transactions have included purchases and sales, ground leases, sale-leasebacks, and options. Her clients include restaurant chains, grocery store chains, department stores, oil companies, a major utility company, major law firms, industrial companies, entertainment companies, pension funds, financial institutions, and non-profit entities.

Finance: Ms. Young has represented institutional lenders and borrowers in acquisition and development, construction and permanent loans secured by hotels, shopping centers, and office buildings nationwide, as a practicing attorney in both California and New York. She has also represented lenders in loan modification and loan workout matters.
