arena since 1977. We understand the real estate

1. Acquisition and Sale
Transactions: We have represented buyers and
sellers of almost every property type including
retail shopping centers, office buildings and
office parks, raw land, multi-family housing
buildings and complexes, manufacturing facilities,
medical facilities, service stations, industrial
properties and others.
The transactions have included
purchases and sales, exchanges, options, ground
leases, portfolio purchases and sales and has
included extensive review of environmental issues
related to the transactions.
2. Financing: Our clients
are primarily lenders including banks and other
financial institutions, public agencies and life
insurance companies. We also provide
representation to institutional borrowers.
We have provided loan
documentation in hundreds of transactions

As with our other practice areas,
real estate assets provided as security have

3. Leasing: We have
represented commercial landlords and tenants in
office, retail and industrial lease transactions
including originations, leasehold financings,
ground leasing, transfers and subleases,
renegotiations and workouts.
We have developed lease
documentation for projects and have handled lease
negotiations for landlords and tenants in a
variety of settings.
We have extensive experience in
representing both sides of the leasing transaction
- including lease negotiations for landlords and
tenants.
4. Loan Workout and Portfolio
Representation: We have provided
representation in numerous loan modification,
workout and restructure transactions and deeds in
lieu of foreclosure. We have also provided
services in connection with portfolio transactions
arising out of distressed situations, both on the
purchaser and seller side.
